Translation of Matthew’s After-Show Chat (from ):Thank you for watching. That was my vocal cover of MIXED NUTS by Official HIGE DANdism. Isn’t Anya the cutest? You’d just feel so smitten with Anya! Paka, piki piki piki, peanuts!! (Matthew mimics a famous act featuring peanuts by a Japanese comedian Sunshine Ikezaki. The caption says "Anya is cute!")Now, why is the song called “Mixed Nuts”? In the SPYxFAMILY story, Anya loves peanuts. Then, why did Official HIGE DANdism titled the song “Mixed Nuts” instead of “Peanuts”? Their explanation was this. Those that grow on trees are called “nuts”. And those that grow underground are called “peanuts”. The place of your birth determins how you are called. (Matthew starts reading something out loud. Caption says: Matthew is visiting out of the frame right now.)“...This resonates with the theme of the animation: the protagonists hide their true identities, playing their roles in a fake family. But they stand up together against something like a real family. That makes it fascinating. And we felt that it doesn’t matter if it’s real or not, but if there is happiness or joy that visits you, then, that’s plenty, that’s enough, isn’t it? We created the song thinking about those things about the story...."This is what they said. Wow! Isn’t Official HIGE DANdism amazing?! I didn’t discover this by reading the official site of SPYxFAMILY. But I read it in a description of an explainer video of the song done by a famous voice trainer YouTuber. It explained Mixed Nuts is such and such a story. So, if you read it first in the official site or if you hear it first on YouTube, that would make your reception of it different. I think that is another example of “mixed nuts”. I think...? I think so!! ...Peanuts!!!Why don’t you guys leave your love for SPYxFAMILY, or any feedback to the clip in the comments below? That’ll be very nice. I upload one or two new vocal covers on this channel every week. Please Subscribe, Like and turn on the Bell for notification so that you won’t miss them. Translation of Matthew’s After-Show Chat (from ):Thank you for watching. That was my vocal cover of “Akaito” by Rib-san. Rib-san is great I love him. And I love mikitoP-san, too. Love x love = just amazing. As you may know, this song is a part of a trilogy. When Rib-san was to release his first album “Rib on” mikitoP-san wrote "Sarishinohara" for it. And the song he wrote for the second album “Riboot” was “Yonjunana”. And the one he wrote for the third album “Singing Rib” was this song “Akaito”. The three songs are all connected telling a story. The lyrics mikitoP-san writes make your chest tight with emotions. Now, if you could share your favorite songs by mikitoP-san, or how you like Rib-san in the comments, that would be very nice. Every week, I upload one or two vocal covers on this channel. Please Subscribe, Like and turn on the Bell so that you won’t miss my new covers. I hope to see you again. I’m Matthew. Bye-bye.
Translation of Matthew’s After-Show Chat (from ):Thank you for watching. That was my vocal cover of “Noroshi” by syudou-san! Syudou-san, congratulations on your upcoming online live concert Noroshi! (Matthew applauses.) Syudou-san is working aggressively, isn’t he? In his last song “Tarine”, which I also covered, there was this line “yukuzo online (Hey, I’m going online!)” in it. He was hinting at the online live! Wow! He was foreshadowing in the lyrics. When you listen to songs, it’s fun to make deep analysis and find these subtle hints. Then later on, you realize they were prepared beforehand. It’s quite moving. When you realize it you go “phew”! I’d like to lay seeds like that in my works, too. But it’s hard to give hints... I don’t have them so far. (Matthew changes his tone of voice.) But, you know, this denying of it itself might be a hint... (He laughs.) No, no. If you start thinking like that, life would be so complicated and you get tired of it! When you watch my videos, I hope you relax and just enjoy them! If you know of an amazing foreshadowing plots in a work of art, please share it in the comments. Or, if you could leave your feedback to my singing/video in the comments, I’d be very happy! Thank you. I’m uploading one or two video clips of my vocal covers every week on this channel. Please Subscribe, Like and turn on the Bell for notifiation so that you won’t miss them.
