It's this shot () that paints the clearest picture for me about what the song is really about. The kid looking at the Moon from afar can also be interpreted as him sinking into the lake as he looks at the girl who can only look at him sinking deeper and deeper through the same hole he fell in, therefore looking like the Moon from his pov.When you look at the shot with that in mind, it honestly looks terrifying, specially seeing the Moon get further and further away from you while being unable to do anything but float away.

Inside the warm pocket that i was placed into...She was drowning, "warm pocket" may refer to her winter clothes, which absorbed water and became heavy, that's why she can't move.
