It sounds like somebody is fixing a bike for the child, presumably the dad, while the child is playing with toys (the squeaky sounds). The very same bike the other comments say he was riding when he got into the accident.

at around when the music box is showed and the child is singing about their death, in the background, the sounds remind me of turning bicycle wheels, gears turning as well as those levers they use to lift up cars. Maybe the bike has fallen on its side while the wheels come to a gradual stop and the paramedics need to use some specialized equipment such as those levers to lift up the car without hurting the kid any more than they already are.

I thinks that the music box is the ambulance where the kid is when he’s dying. And that the whole song is about the kid telling in his mind his last words. The shoots that he hear at is a defibrillator. He says that he feels happy to die, i think that it’s because when you re dying, your brain “drug your body” to don’t feel the pain, you re feeling good when you re at a certain stage of death. This was the first song to actually make me start crying. Especially at around . The way he talks about the life he left behind, and also the things his parents got him, and how he just fades away after the segment is over is so beautifully sad.

This almost made me cry, and I keep thinking about the times I probably would’ve just ended my life right there. This song kind of relates to me a little bit. At , that’s when it hit me too close to home. I was going to vanish, and no one would know. But when I almost did it, I thought about how it would’ve hurt my mom and my siblings. My father, was abusive and my mom was deeply depressed. At that point my mom would’ve killed herself if I did. Be thankful for life. That’s why it was given to you. Please be strong, and keep your spirits up.❤

it could be that the toys describes the child’s death— the comic book and cars ‘melting together’ meaning how the child’s ‘story’ (in relation to comic books) ended due to an accident involving a car. since it can be easily interpreted that the music box is another representation of car wheels, ‘papa’s toy soldiers waving from under the lid of the music box’ symbolising the child waving goodbye to his parents from under the car’s wheels
He saw his parents one last time and tried to say goodbye but as you know his arms gone. and i think he got hit a few blocks away from his house.
Something I noticed that I haven’t seen anyone talking about is at when you see the the soldier’s sword flashing and waving while it’s in the music box.
the way the toy swords are changing between red and blue like police or ambulance sirens and you can hear the sirens in the back as well :(

When the kid says "all of my mama's happliy toys melted together in nothingness" and when he says "papa's toy soliders are waving back under the lid" it biscally means that since he's dead they threw the toys away, since having them will only make them suffer even more with his memory, "i'll disappear into the world of dream" and "until we meet again in our dreams" means that his soul went to heaven and that his death isn't important, since he says we're all gonna die soon and join "the world of dreams"

I think in this part the clatter is the sound of the bicycle crashing and he’s calling for his mama and papa.
This whole song made me burst out in tears especially since child death is a trigger for me the lyrics, mikus voice sounding so cheerful, the adorable kid. It made me cry the most at the end at when you can hear the sirens in the background this song is really good but listening to it when i was in a sorta bad mood made it worse 💔

did you know at you can hear an ambulance suggesting the kid went to the hospital via ambulance before being confirmed dead
you can hear more clearly a bike loosing control (the slipping sound effect) crashing into the car and an ambulance, at the end you can hear the tire of the bike still rolling after the incident, and when his voice becomes more high pitched, i suppose its meant to replicate the sound of him screaming as it happens.
この辺から明らかに異様なサイレンが鳴ってて自転車での事故か、空襲の音なのかなと思いました。それか、序盤は事故が起きてアドレナリンがでていてお母さんやお父さんを認識できているが、最後はサイレンが聞こえてきてアドレナリンが切れたのかなとも解釈できました。

I don't know if anyone noticed, but around , I think the deceased child's parents go to him and cry, and the small white dots are their tears. We also see the last moments the child saw. I interpret the confusion around him as him hitting his head first when he fell off the bicycle. (I'm referring to the fact that half of the child's head is not visible at the beginning of the song.) I hope you understand.
, those sounds are like the bicycle breaking and seems like it fell down a long hill, so it made sounds like that to show the bike the parents bought for the boy broke due to it falling down to what seems like a hill, along with the poor boy dying.
