At first we see she has a friend who, I believe, she feels like she's -her angel-. The evidence to this is treated as the halo she's wearing for most of the song, and we don't see her real face.
黒と白のアイスを半分こする→黒を苦労（ネガティブ）、白をその逆の感情と捉えると、友達はみかげちゃんに楽な気持ちでいてほしいっていう意味合いで白の方を差し出した
When they share popsicles, her friend gives her the light one while she takes the dark one as an analogy of that she knows more about the adult world than Mikage. They are sitting in a Heart shaped playground that is also the third heart. But wait I said it was us, right?
The first scene we see the the playground is *inside* the heart.

And going back to the innoccence and graduation thing, when Mikage is talking to her friend instead to "Es/US/🤍" she says she's like a mirror of people. Of herself too. This means that she has lost innocence and is able to adapt her heart to various situations.

🔸The third heart is US, and while she looks like she's talking about her friend in the song, she's sometimes talking to US too. You can see that in the "I don't want to be infantuated by you (looks at us and next appears the heart shaped playground (I will explain this later)) Es, es, es, es..." part.

Mikage sees her friend as an angel and that's why while I think she's a good friend, she's maybe too protective of Mikage. The third heart could also be the Maturity/Badness part. When Mikha says "The kids who only appear to be good in front of teachers disgust me" is a grasp of this. Also "The badness is well hidden"

Before in another popsicle scene, they both had dark ones and Mikage's is now sharing them, that symbolises this too.

みかげちゃんのペンケースとまったく同じものを持ったナナちゃんのイラストをはるまきごはんさんが描いていたし「藍色が好きだった」という歌詞があるし「良い子はみんな大人になった」という歌詞からも大人になりたくなかったナナちゃんと同じようにみかげちゃんも"大人になった良い子"と自分はそうでないことをはっきりさせているような気がする。
理性の邪魔するなんて、最低だよね。嫌なのは一緒なのにね。私はまだ、本心を捨てきれないでいる。みんなはもう捨てているみたい。みかげちゃんは捨てられる運命なんだ。

I keep coming back to this part, the lyrics really speak to me and that "camera" angle is so cool 💖
saying "all of the good kids had become adults by this point" makes me wonder if mikage is not human. the beginning says something like "i don't see myself as an angel nor a demon, moreso as a being that reflects the hearts of strangers", too. there seems to be a theme of hearts going on too. she might be a being that reflects hearts, the playground is shaped like a heart, her earbuds resemble a heart beating, and at the end, she says "a cold, third heart watched over us".
So the estimule/real wish/impulse/whatever of the creator of the song is them to reunite (I sense some inspiration from Saikai here! And there's a reference to Himitsu as well here > ).

In the Sakuraful scene, is when Mikage finally realized that she has to face reality. She falls from the swing (representing childhood) She has had points, as well as her friend.
みかげちゃんのこと何も知らないけど、この歌詞が「ありがとう」じゃなくて「ありがと」になってるの何となくわかる(伝われ)
別れ際「ありがと」なんて言ったら、理性の後ろ髪を引っ張ってしまう。そうしたら、嫌な記憶とか、悲しい記憶になるかもという不安
音と波紋が連動してて美しい・・・

In the next scene we see a transparent foot that might be her friend's or even hers, which means they both are now able to face/reflect the world.Then they reunite. (And while all this we see Mikage suffering saying that she doesn't want to leave her) and with a big red sunset light symbolising the actual real third heart (a reflection of us.) And the halo disappearing from her friend's head.

When they do, we see Mikage's friend without the halo, that symbolises Mikage is not anymore regarding her as an angel (knowing everyone has bad and good things) and then she's able to face reality and not fall apart with her since they are now standing in the same line of maturity.
夕焼けが訪れて、色が曖昧になる。表に出る割合が多いのが、本心たるみかげちゃんから理性に変わっていく、その途中
I think they're trying to express what it looks like to be inside of their third heart (the heart in the playground) and how it saw her having troubles to say goodbye (the upside-down wave might've been an imagery of this at ). I think that's what she was looking at in
Then at the end of the song, when it says "The neglected third heart is looking at us" Mikage actually LOOKS at US. As if knowing we are looking to them.And also, remember this is sung by Hatsune Miku. You know what makes Miku sing?

最後には友達の目隠しが無くなっている…（何を表しているかまではたどり着かなかった）
