"please give me lots of cotton candy" "I want to go back to how we were" right after that sentence, the music makes a transition into a weird part, like the feeling of floating in the clouds, some kind of - trance - where you see the past. Notice that when this happens, the cloud expands, telling us that the drug addict loses himself. At around , he/she overdosed and started to get permanently lost in this fake world. Realizing his mistake, he got scared and pronounced his last words: "put me back" wishing to retake the present reality that he wanted to escape at the start. But it's too late. "cotton candy" At the end, to signify that he is in this world now, and forever.
