I've obsessively gone through Rib and this version, and the endings are different. In Rib's version, the ending focuses on the guy. It shows him graduated (he's holding the japanese certificate scroll tube thing), with the wilted sunflower, and then it shows him leaving the classroom. But, in this version, it focuses on the idol girl at the end. It shows her alone in the classroom (flipped classrooms, so they look like they're in different rooms or something), and also shows her leaving the classroom. In their respective versions, it shows the guy/girl smiling and walking away (). It sounds like they both gave up on each other or moved on, right?
