@egshels It could also be a sense that he feels he could doing better in his work overall... you see several personas from previous songs, all with different tones and music style usage (Ultimate Senpai, Slow Motion, Magical Girl and Chocolate, God-ish). But all of these songs have the common theme of falling behind and not being good enough in life or at what you have done with said life. It could be that the song has subtle representation of how he feels that he keeps trying and trying to create a song that expresses his feelings of not being good enough or perhaps starting to rise above his industry..with popularity comes the consequence of feeling like every next thing you do should be as great or better than the last, only to have some people disagree that you can still do better. So you try again and again in an endless pattern..a constant loop..like reincarnation. Just my take from your idea!
