First we see him with his clothes disheveled but still wearing the glasses that block his sight (), tying into the idea of the MC having a unique worldview that school suppressed to make him a good student.

The lines at the beginning (specifically the bit about his "unaddressed ambition"), coupled with his smart guy glasses, imply that the protagonist is an honor student who snapped one day due to the pressure ( "I'm pissed off/Multiplying tests") and got himself stuck at detention as result. So he decides to get the most out of his time by sleeping during the punishment, signaled by the Gu Gu Gu SFX of snoring, which is what leads us viewers into his crazy dream about (apparently) making his classmates explode.

So back to the wordplay, at first the song makes it seem like the MC wants to blow up all the "experts/wannabes" at his school because he is absolutely stressed, but this explosion theme is subverted eventually because, instead of the standard SFX for something being broken (Pehta/ペッタ) that would fit in the context of an explosion, the song hides the phrase the MC is singing at first () and mixes it with many lines about literal bombs to delay the reveal at the chorus that the MC's big plan in reality is to "go Peta Peta/ペタペタ" on everyone (meaning he will paint them), not Pehta Pehta'ing them (meaning he doesn't want to shoot a literal bomb at them, it's all paint bullets).

Here we start seeing things from the uniquely colorful perspective that the MC has, highlighted by how the background and lyrics start losing their plain tones ( "I see the world differently from other people", as explicit as it gets), and as expected for a dream, this is where things get weird.

In the end, this pun ties his effort to paint his surroundings into a recurrent motif of Chinozo's songs , which is dying other people with your own colors or being dyed by them to change for the better. At the same time though, the apparent brutality of the explosions convey how the protagonist perceives himself as an insane delinquent who is going to blow up everyone and rock the world inside his dream ( "Ahh, I go to and from school today/then take the commuter train to jail", "I'm not that crazy (?)"), to contrast with the fact that in reality, he is still stuck at detention doing nothing.That's another funny aspect, the MV shows us the different stages of his transformation into a "delinquent".
