〜ヒレが人魚のヒレだとするとヲズワルドに「フォークロア(民族)はその昔人魚を生み出した」ってあるから煮ルさんにとっての人魚は1番最初のケルトからの伝承と考える、このケルトの伝承では"人間と人魚の間に肉体的な外見上の違いはなかった"とされているらしいです！！ベルボーイになった時に"普通"になったとの解釈が見られるけれどやはり中身はそのままで無意識下で仮面を被っているのかも…ここでまたヲズワルドが出てくるのですが「また偽りのイメージで媚び売るの」って歌詞が"普通"の仮面を被っていれば好奇の目を向けられる事もない、そう感じました。薬の面でもフードを被ったベルボーイがヲズワルドの男性にしか見えない(他コメより)などこの2曲近しいものがあるのかも…考察は全然出来ないので完全に人任せにしてましたが久しぶりに聴きに来てコメを見たら感化されて自分でも頑張ってみました！(笑)今までの煮ルさんの曲たちがポスターで出てくるところだったり他曲との共通点が沢山あったりとする所から、今までの曲はベルボーイの心の内とかだったりすると面白いですね。

After stewing in this song for a few months I can't really say I'm able to pinpoint the full story, even after reading various comments and theories (granted I haven't seen all of them.) I do want to write my interpretation on what's shown to us in the PV. Right off the bat, we can tell that the protagonist is a disheveled mess of a person, obviously very tired of the world around him--resorting to drinking his sorrows away without a care as to where he ends up. And this is where he meets a the "bellboy" at . And I kinda want to talk about him for a bit.

Which seems to give off the impression that the bellboy seems to be lying in wait to maybe capitalize on the MC's downfall, or something to that effect, seeing as how he mentioned eagerly waiting for the MC's arrival while softly laughing at the fact. Does this song have any connection to traffic jams? I think. I don't think Akashi is just responsible for painting the same video ... It's in the Traffic Jam video summary that one of the two traffic jams at is mocking the protagonist. I felt that it was also connected to the part "I want you to be unhappy".

I think the main guy is directly linked to the bell boy and his unfruitful love. It looks like the main character had yoinked the girl he liked and he either got bullied or had encountered Flurry and Welter soon after or before. Perhaps the main character felt guilty for never reaching out to the kid/stealing his girl, and Welter was the one who had pushed the main character into the water (the shit he falls into at ) and made him understand what he did to the current bellboy. This guilt added on top of the emptiness he felt had pushed him over the edge and allowed the virus to be passed over to him perhaps. He then sets the ex-bellboy free of the virus and becomes the new bellboy. (I've been saying bellboy but i mean the "hotel supervisor" that you guys have said)

Because the younger version of Haine and The bellboy look so similar, it leads me to believe that they're brothers and The bellboy (who I assume is named Haine based of the title and the dialogue of Klaine saying "Haine has always been soaking up my tears") was living a life of watching his brother living a relatively carefree life and even at some point dated/married the lady he had feelings for.

(the first two scenes) -- Bell is picking up papers and crying at the feet of presumably his superiors of a salaryman or other working class job. To top it off, MC is working in the same company as him and so is Miss, who he's presumably together with at this point. He seems not to care about Bell and pays no mind to him. Belle's obviously dissatisfied with his life at this point.
Based on observations it seems the the "bellboy" is a role that seems to be passed from person to person, this first bellboy we see was what seems to be a meek looking boy who may have had an interest in art, perhaps writing? Indicated by how he'd always keep a note/sketch book clutched around his chest. onwards, and the segments with the lines scribbled over are very likely to be flashback scenes, we can see that the boy had been extremely distraught over his works, with the papers scattered on the ground, at
Bell at the end of his university got a job, apparently it was his first day. He made a mistake at that time and his superiors began to look at what he was doing, they saw that it was not good at all in what he was doing and began to cry, however that is not all after a while he realized that Haine and Miss worked in the same company(It may also be that the work he aspired to was something artistic, but he was a failed artist)
Once a young aspiring artist, the Bellboy fell in love with a women, however this love was sadly one-sided. She eventually fell in love with Haine, and telling by Haine's appearance its been a few years since this encounter happened. (@shadowwolfgem s) points out that at the aftermath of the girls confession. The Bellboy was bullied relentlessly, with Haine possibly the one to incite other to do so for him, as the Bellboy looks at Haine both angry with each other. Spiraling into a deep depression, he too ends up at the hotel where it seems that a woman was the previous owner. まだわからない部分は多いですが、の部分だけで考えると、ベルボーイは年上の女性に恋したけど女性が好きなのは主人公で「自分がもう少しはやく生まれてれば...」と劣等感に苛まれて今の主人公みたいにホテルでベルボーイにされたのかもしれないですね。
今回の終わり方では主人公は完全バットエンド、という感じでしたが〜のベルボーイくんの回想と
子供ハイネが失恋の劣等感でベルボーイになるシーン。
ベルボーイの過去。まだベルボーイに堕ちていなかった頃の少年は女性に恋をするが、女性は主人公が好きだった。ベルボーイが虐められて泣きながら紙を拾い集めている。
No you explained it pretty well but the reason that I say that the Bellboy is Haine is because of the scribbled flashback at we see the Bellboy’s transformation once the girl he loves leaves. It’s basically what broke him leaving Haine to dwell and be trapped by his past mistakes which is personified as the Bellboy. The Bellboy leaving just means the same as when the girl left: he’s given up on Haine. However the difference is that while the girl left because of Haine never changing, the Bellboy leaves because Haine is now putting in the effort to change. It also coincides with what Niru’s comment said, “Weldline Hotel is in an empty place in the heart.” That feeling of you past trying to dictate your present actions feels like how Haine is dealing with the Bellboy: a very suffocating feeling.

The weldline hotel is actually a hotel in which the people who feel their empty hearts end there, it may be that Miss was trapped in that hotel, she could not leave until she will find someone to replace her place. We can see that Bell was that substitute since his heart was empty when he saw that his love was not reciprocated by Miss. You can see Miss Salinedo by the door, now she is free, with Bell being the one who is trapped.Now we return to the beginning of the song in which Haine is depressed, his work, the way he lives and in general his whole life is the same, which makes him feel very sad. Then we see that Haine goes to a bar to drink, you can see a couple in front of Haine, it could be that Haine broke up with his girlfriend (Miss) and that is why he feel sad and miserable

I think Haine and bellboy went to the same school and probably liked the same girl and because of that haine bullied the bellboy because if you look at the bellboy there is something spilled on his back and he's on the ground crying with people surrounding him. Also it seems like the bellboy was in the hotel like haine was because at the end of that scene you see another bellperson walk out the door while the bellboy becomes the bellboy. Then in the last part of the song the bellboy proceeds to do the same thing to haine. Also we get to see haine as a child and a teen I assume and he doesn't look like the bellboy during that part. So at least to me they seem like completely different people in the song.I could be wrong but that what I got from the video, I still like your theory though.

(from this point on this is purely speculative and theory heavy) but I'm under the belief that the person that the current bellboy was pining for and the previous bellboy might've been the same person, she was someone who found herself in the Weldline hotel and the artist boy (current bellboy) felt strongly about this, seeing as how he felt strongly about her. What would make sense to cause events to turn out the way they did, would be that the prior bellboy/the woman left by means of taking her own life. This would in turn cause an eternal pit in the artist/current bellboy's heart that would have him take up the role in her stead, and this burning desire to see the MC suffer, as the resentment would've only been further enhanced by this.

The lyrics at seem to line up with this, seeing as it describes the MC being someone who constantly is soaked in the bellboy's tears. Wherever he went, the bellboy's suffering would follow. I think with all this in mind the bellboy's plan was to instigate and kick the MC while he was down, hoping to trap him in the very same suffering that he himself had endured for all this time.
