Not to mention, Ope in general has a lot of TV-related imagery, like the windows of Steel's room that act as TV screens and broadcast the videos he watches on his phone for the viewer to see, at the beginning of the song.

The prisoner is located in room "AB 01", which probably stands for the acronym of Anaphylaxie Bee (AB), while the one owes to the fact that AB is the first song in the album of the same name (as seen in the crossfade video).On the other hand, as the Japanese fans already commented, the “No. 0088774” can be read as 8=Hachi, 8= Ya (another way to pronounce 8 in Japanese), 77=Nana and 4= Shi, spelling out Hachiya Nanashi, funnily enough, Hachiya had already used this method to sign as “774” in Lime Light’s credits. In case the “BEESHOP” namedrops weren’t blatant enough, this makes it 100% clear that the character we see in the prison is Hachiya himself.

We see in the plate that the place the protagonist is about to enter is a bee library, which takes on a different connotation once you consider that the rest of the song doesn’t present bees as something positive.
, therefore this tunnel is either inside the MC’s imagination, or the library is inside his head and he is actually walking further into the corridor in reality.Regardless of which one is the case here, the important part is that the function of the evacuation sign is flipped. A normal one would be placed inside the building in order to show exit routes, but in this situation the MC is entering a building under the guidance of an evacuation sign, which brings me back to the idea that the entire library is an evacuation route that the MC traverses to flee from reality.
Given how Sakiyama has played a lot with signs in their previous collabs with Hachiya and used them to express the character’s emotional state, more specifically their willingness to ‘move forward’ with their lives or not (look no further than all the traffic signs/lights in Neurosis), I think it’s a very important detail that as it’s seen in , the prisoner is moving in the direction marked by an evacuation sign. It’s not the “stop/keep moving” dichotomy presented by traffic lights in previous songs, i.e the dilemma of living vs giving up on life (as Ope’s lyrics put it), here the character is straight up taking the easy way out by running away through the ‘evacuation route’ and drugging himself, so he doesn’t even have to think about what choice he’ll make.
Incidentally, the evacuation sign is shown to be located in a passageway with black walls and white flooring that doesn’t match the structure of the actual entrance displayed at or the insides of the library (

Neurosis commented on the state of growing flowers in your eye socks with the lyrics "Ugh, there's nothing that's more annoying than this/ an empty head bloomed with blossoms" ( in Neurosis), and Happy Face outright showed its protagonist forming a smile cult as the 'flowers' bloomed in everyone heads and erased their depression, so it's no mystery that the motif of blooming eyes represents a fake or numbed happiness that the characters in the Bee-verse pursue when they have nothing else left.
Then, as if dancing with Purple Hype’s pigs in dresses at wasn’t enough, the song decides to employ a similar amount of bpm compared to PH during Hachiya’s conversation with his Kuriyama persona. The focus on PH must owe to the fact that, at the end of the day, it IS the first song that ‘Kuriyama Yuri’ produced after leaving behind the identity of ‘Hachiya Nanashi’.I don’t understand what the lyrics, so I’ll skip the conversation itself for now.

The library acid trip already showed us the prisoner using bees as drugs, but now it goes from a metaphor to an actual pill he’s taking to get that firework high.In the following sequence, we see Hachiya making a mad sprint while under the influence of ‘bees’ once more, however, on this instance he isn’t alone. There’s a public that cheers on him as they see him shrug off the complex laser barrier and continue moving forward without screwing up, and I believe this to be what wraps up the “bees as drugs” analogy.This artist, disregarding names, made songs while enjoying the high that came with the bee’s toxic sting, this would be the act of releasing his music under the Hachiya Nanashi/Beeshop persona. At the same time, the audience saw the artist succeed despite the difficulties in his path and decided to cheer him on, unaware that he wouldn’t be able to go on as Beeshop due to the negative consequences and pressure of this ‘high’, which in the video is represented by having Hachiya Nanashi end up in prison after his bank heist fails and the animal police puts him in jail, leaving only Kuriyama to carry on in his stead; free in the outside world.The prisoner, Hachiya, destroyed the camera keeping an eye on him, so we won’t ever know what was of him (just like how now we technically won’t get to hear more “Hachiya” songs), but he got Kuriyama a ticket to the stage from the Bee Bank and an album from the Bee library, so they are still both “Bees” even if the disc is placed on a new player and now the centerpiece of its decoration is Kuriyama's flowers.Aaaaand that was it, a lot of love and care was put into this MV, so I greatly enjoyed rewatching Hachiya/Beeshop/Kuriyama’s other videos to catch any possible references. It gave me a bigger appreciation of his amazing discography, and also gave me another chance to take delight in Sakiyama and Koronosuke’s god-tier work. Anaphylaxie Bee truly feels like what Dramaturgy is to Eve or If There was an Endpoint is to Tuyu, it’s THE ultimate Beeshop song.Other neat details that I would like to highlight:
