in the second it could mean that his head cracked from the impact of th car so it sounds like ¨popcorn¨
it gave me the fucking chills how they censored one side of his face when he had said “my milky white cheeks have blown away like popcorn” knowing the context of the song

the song says he "got caught inside the teeth of a music box," and describes him basically getting crushed and "minced and chopped up." if you combine that with the fact that the music box in this song sounds like a bicycle, and that in a later verse (
Idk if I commented on this before or if I saw a comment like this (probably not) but I'll say it. I think the background for is what the ground looked like when the kid got hit. You can even see the pink splatters of what I'm assuming is blood.
I never thought about this but in there are splatter bloods all over the background while the lyrics is explaining him being crushed by the car..
at around when the music box is showed and the child is singing about their death, in the background, the sounds remind me of turning bicycle wheels, gears turning as well as those levers they use to lift up cars. Maybe the bike has fallen on its side while the wheels come to a gradual stop and the paramedics need to use some specialized equipment such as those levers to lift up the car without hurting the kid any more than they already are.
There's blood in the background and there was a flash of splattered blood.
: later in the song, it mentions narrow cracks. we can assume that he bumped into a crack, sending him flying off his bike and under a car (the music box). a running car, by the "trembling" part. he's hit his head, his blood seeping out onto the pavement into a big star.
And this part i'm not sure but i think the driver who ran him over was trying to escape from the police and they tried to stop the driver by opening fire.
I thinks that the music box is the ambulance where the kid is when he’s dying. And that the whole song is about the kid telling in his mind his last words. The shoots that he hear at is a defibrillator. He says that he feels happy to die, i think that it’s because when you re dying, your brain “drug your body” to don’t feel the pain, you re feeling good when you re at a certain stage of death. Sorry for the shitty English..

The reason this song is so sad is about its about a little boy dying to early in a car accident and the music box is the car and how he gets ripped apart by the tires of the car and gets turned to little pieces and his body parts and clothes getting ripped apart at this part is the moment that he gets hit ( ) and
is his parents and people crying at the sight of there beloved son ripped apart right in front of them. And the toy solders at the end waving there swords is the ambulance and that's why theres the sound of the ambulance at the end
てっきり、ここの表現的に卵管、子宮、産道を下って流産かと思い込んでいたけど本当にコメント欄見たりしてどんどん解釈が広がる。
I love the details of a story from a person who has died once . its intriguing because you want to know what they felt and what they were doing and you could imagine your mindset . usually what you get is the situation and feelings being described by someone else . it fails to make me feel connected to any character. Parts where there is animation of the arms and clothes being ripped away it makes me feel a type of way . Maybe its the animation or The way they described how they were ripped away. You never get how it feels like and how it is described from someone who is dead. Like permanently dead. When there is someone who describes it because they have died once you don't get the feel that "oh theyre permanently gone " but when someone who cant be brought back explains the story its different . Thats what I love about the songs kikuo makes . theyre so detailed . my favroite part is

This was the first song to actually make me start crying. Especially at around . The way he talks about the life he left behind, and also the things his parents got him, and how he just fades away after the segment is over is so beautifully sad.
I was like absolutely fine all of this song but for some reasons everytime someone mentions toys I want to cry?

when the little boy was talking abt wind blowing in his face and in the video he was going down hill, at in the video you can hear a bicycle and a slipping sound effect, which could mean as he was going down hill and lost control of his bike and fell onto on coming traffic and getting ran over and being torn apart into pieces by the car tire and being "melted together into nothingness". at

it could be that the toys describes the child’s death— the comic book and cars ‘melting together’ meaning how the child’s ‘story’ (in relation to comic books) ended due to an accident involving a car. since it can be easily interpreted that the music box is another representation of car wheels, ‘papa’s toy soldiers waving from under the lid of the music box’ symbolising the child waving goodbye to his parents from under the car’s wheels
You know what makes this song even more messed up? Just near the end (specifically ), you can hear the sound of alarm sirens. The sounds probably hint that the kid (or better yet whatever's left of him) was immediately rushed to the ER via ambulance, but eventually flatlined once they got there ('cause HELLO THE KID WAS LITERALLY CRUSHED INTO BLOODY PULP). I don't know if Kikuo himself will ever confirm this, but if he does...
He saw his parents one last time and tried to say goodbye but as you know his arms gone. and i think he got hit a few blocks away from his house.
Something I noticed that I haven’t seen anyone talking about is at when you see the the soldier’s sword flashing and waving while it’s in the music box.
the way the toy swords are changing between red and blue like police or ambulance sirens and you can hear the sirens in the back as well :(
It kind of sounds like a siren in the distance for like an ambulance or police..Just noticed that now.

When the kid says "all of my mama's happliy toys melted together in nothingness" and when he says "papa's toy soliders are waving back under the lid" it biscally means that since he's dead they threw the toys away, since having them will only make them suffer even more with his memory, "i'll disappear into the world of dream" and "until we meet again in our dreams" means that his soul went to heaven and that his death isn't important, since he says we're all gonna die soon and join "the world of dreams"

This whole song made me burst out in tears especially since child death is a trigger for me the lyrics, mikus voice sounding so cheerful, the adorable kid. It made me cry the most at the end at when you can hear the sirens in the background this song is really good but listening to it when i was in a sorta bad mood made it worse 💔
Yknow I never noticed this until now but at the end of the song it literally SOUNDS like sirens are going off
did you know at you can hear an ambulance suggesting the kid went to the hospital via ambulance before being confirmed dead
you can hear more clearly a bike loosing control (the slipping sound effect) crashing into the car and an ambulance, at the end you can hear the tire of the bike still rolling after the incident, and when his voice becomes more high pitched, i suppose its meant to replicate the sound of him screaming as it happens.
