Notice that when this happens, the cloud expands, telling us that the drug addict loses himself. At around , he/she overdosed and started to get permanently lost in this fake world. Realizing his mistake, he got scared and pronounced his last words: "put me back" wishing to retake the present reality that he wanted to escape at the start. But it's too late.
