I kinda like to think that she's singing to another girl. The lines about "I would like to keep that small face on my shoulder" and "the scent of your hair" around sounded more like something you'd say about a girl than a boy. I guess it's up to the viewer anyway, since her love interest is never shown. It's an adorable song regardless ^^
Around it says they're on a train and the love interest is asleep on Miku's shoulder. Still could be either or, just saying that's why she's saying that.
