Okay, hear me out. I think this song itself is about Niru himself. We have a lot of characters from his songs appear throught the MV. I noticed that a lot of male characters from his songs tend to be pretty similar (Traffic Jam, Haine&Kleine, this one) - long, wavy hair with sharp, but tired eyes. I think that might be his self insert into songs, but that's just a little observation from me, haha. In we see him trying his best to not let his work get too close to fire, since he's afraid of controversy. Most of you problably don't know this, but Niru once put out a song that had rape themes in it and due to peoples reaction he deleted it and apologized. The song was up for a few hours, had a whole MV animated and was lit, shame he took it down, but it only shows how much he cares about the way people view his work. He seems to try different styles recently, but even though his songs are really good, they still don't get as much views as the ones made with art from WOOMA and 明石. I think that's why the song is called Ironina (Irony), the song comments on his love to his creations which he is afraid of changing (using his typical style) and still comes back to. The irony is that the song is made heavily in that "typical Niru" style that he's not able to let go.
The music video also features the younger bellboy () closer to the beginning of the video (which could symbolize importance or maybe similarity) than any of the other characters, and from the Haine Klein video we know that the bellboy was likely a poor artist before he became the bellboy (when he is living on the street he has painting canvas' around him), Bellboy being paired with Heath may be another clue that Heath is an artist. As always, there is subtles differences between the yt and niconico upload~ In the yt ver. at Welter and Flurry appear at the right (of the screen) while on the nico nico ver, Haine appears at the left 💚As for the story in this, as many have stated already, I feel it's about an artist that created his muse, Ironinna, always with the desire of drowning in superiority, and by luck Ironinna was extremely liked by everyone, but as time passed and the artist grew older, he grew cold of the underwhelming support, where now the driven passion to continue his piece and part of his life wasn't out of genuine love for Ironinna, but the approval of the masses (the moment he tried to give Ironinna long hair but backed down of it after the underwhelming support of the short hair).This droves our artist (and Ironinna) into being dragged down on the paths of the protagonist of our later songs which as we know, represent certain emotions, taking blame out of one self with Welter and Flurry and the feeling of inferiority with Haine. To preface ,, oh my god I can't believe akashi's world lore is expanding HOLY MOLY IT'S SO SATISFYING SEEING ALL THE CHARACTERS FROM BEFORE ..,,., niru kajitsu you have fed all of us well ,, Here's my "two-sense" on this song. This man is an artist or writer of sorts who fell in love with his initial creation , the girl. She's very clearly not a real person solely because there are very clear indications time has passed based on the man's appearance. He initially created her arguably for his own pleasure but he eventually gained eyes / an audience on him (hence the eyes in the pv). Because of this , he eventually started to tailor his creation to fit the bias of his audience and make what they want to see , which eventually led him to enjoy his creation less and less. This is shown most prominently at where she's shown to change hair styles with a different amount of hearts and thumbs up around her at both parts to show audience bias. I feel like the guy's sort of dissatisfactory & negativity got to him based on lyrics such as "Want to believe that I’ve accomplished something" and "Then I want superiority… want to drown in superiority". To me , he sounds like a creator who wanted some sort of heavy validation for his creations and to believe that he didn't waste his time on a piece of work that didn't mean anything to him because he probably realized he was only doing it to appease his audience rather than for himself. This also to me sort of reflects something most creators might face , making a creation , growing out of that creation , but feeling tied down because most of their audience that they've accumulated might only have been following them for that specific creation along with wanting to grow past it , but also understanding how much time and work they've already put into it and not having it in them to throw that sort of long drawn effort away. That or this part might just be me heavily self projecting who knows lol. To add , I also think the "love" he talks about isn't just about his "love" for his creation but also his pursuit of "love" from his audience.

Honestly that song is still a little confusing to me, but I think it has themes of becoming trapped by depression and cynicism which are important here. The green guy at is in the role of a bellboy from that video, where the hotel represents some kind of negative mental state you can't escape. He's offering our protagonist a room key, which I'd say shows how depression is trying to grasp our protagonist. His eyes turn green like he's falling under the spell at first, but he remembers his character and the comfort his own creation brings, and she manages to snap him out of it. This moment also happens immediately after the most blatant intervention of the Traffic Jam characters, so it can show how the hate is starting to reach him as a person and negatively affect him.
