But also, they're done in a completely different art style with a whole different vibe from the previous art and animation we just saw. It feels awkward, like the artist pulled random drawings from a different artist, but if that's the case, then why these drawings? How come no "horror-style" girls or people in general? Or just stock photos or even stick figures? Putting it that way makes the move more intentional.

So, that view of easily breaking objects, the excitement of it, the view that people's souls are attached to it, the need to especially destroy precious objects due to their amount of souls, the laughter while one's crying. But then you see much less flashing girls and manga panels right at When the person talks about how one person in particular is apparently fond of them, in turn having that fondness reciprocated, and what that means.

Also in the minute if you put velocity x0.25 you could see a figure being stabbed by multiples knives in the left bottom, and a hiragana「おとうさん」which if I'm not wrong means "Father". Maybe that means that the boy (protagonist) hated his father, or maybe was abused by him and that's the reason why likes people in pain.
My personal interpretation of this song is that since the singer was a boy (Let’s call him Idzuki), he would get a murderous tendency, and he would suppress said tendency by breaking things as a sort of way of getting vengeance against people who harmed him, especially his father (see the scene and slow it down). This would continue onwards into his life, as he starts building up a sort of ideology, that breaking an object tortures the soul, do to that person’s attachment to said object and repetitively broke it. Idzuki then meets a bully in his highschool years that he holds animosity towards, let’s call him Takeo. Now, Idzuki has been suppressing his desires for a while at this point, but still does the occasional saxophone mutilation or defacement of a statue to get his destructive urge out, and one day, later in his highschool years, he finds his bully’s anime figurines and fucking beats the shit out of them. Now considering that later in the song, Idzuki has a sort of realization that he’s been falling for someone (I’ll assume Takeo), so out of a violent jealousy, he destroys the figurines, tying into his paradoxical infatuation with Takeo and anger towards women, as being a gay guy in early 2010’s Japan is rough, and he probably sees women as the enemy in a way, a thing keeping him from being able to speak his mind about his identity (this isn’t fair obviously, but Idzuki isn’t exactly a moral individual).Over time Takeo grows closer to Idzuki and eventually, one day, confesses his love to him. However, this is seemingly not true at first, because Idzuki saw Takeo seemingly plot something earlier.
