Given the song later talks about the "seven trumpets", I have a theory that these could possibly be the seven trumpets given form. I think this polaroid picture could be the anonymous person miku has been referencing throughout the whole video. The constant repeat of "hocus pocus" ( a phrase for when casting a spell often seen as a saying of nonsense; which could mean what miku repeats is meaningless) during the picture being slowly burnt away is miku atttempting to alternate fate and off this person before their encounter.
- 7 trumpets (7 trumpets of revelation describes miku's life in this situation. As anon slowly burns away into ashes, so does miku's world. It's as if Miku cannot live without anon, despite how much it hurts her. The angels that are shown during this montage all have the same attribute of miku; this leads me to believe that the trumpets act as a part of herself warning to stop what she's doing if magic were to exist.
HM.001 (Likely):HM.001 is a tall, thin creature with fire as it's head. It is surrounded by what seem to be red spider lilies, representing death (shoutout to @Fatimakoucho's comment for the plant name & meaning). The outside of the train appears to be caught in an inferno. The description of the first trumpet is: "Upon the sound of the first trumpet, hail and fire mingled with blood is thrown to Earth," causing one-third of nature to disappear as it is burned away. Given this creature is made of fire and surrounded by plants, it is likely that it represents the first trumpet.

Miku is the only person standing in the train. Wearing what comes off to me as a conductor's hat. She is the conductor of the train, which is a metaphor for her controlling her fate. She uses "magic" halfway through the MV, where she sees different outcomes when it comes to the relationship shes trying to revive. The different Miku's during this section represent her different outcomes or just her life afterwards. The first Miku has her head burning similar to the photo burning, which probably represents her shattered sense of self. The other is a Miku with a mask, crying over the relationship she lost. The other is relatively peaceful, with her divided into three smaller Mikus who are now out of the tunnel with different masks. The one after that is either a fate where she continues chasing after the relationship or coming to terms with the relationship as a past part of herself. The other is alone and smiling before being followed up with a angel like Miku in an entirely different location which could be her moving on to someone else. But after realizing that her fate is to never be with the person desires she rejects the idea of magic as a whole. She believes that the only way out of the situation is to end it. So at the end of the MV she stops the train and leaves her connection with that person behind with bloodied hands.

this is probably the part i was most uncertain about when making this, this could represent what t miku thinks she would become if she forgot her lover, which is a bunch of creatures I can't really explain lol the first few represent that t miku can't even forget her lover, as she will forget herself in the process. the last four represent her losing her mind (and becoming a biblically accurate miku, i guess)
HM.002 (Possible):HM.002 is an amorphous creature that appears to be crying. It is surrounded by... _I have no clue honestly._ It kind of looks like underwater plants, but take that with a grain of salt as it could also just be more red spider lilies. (Edit: It is more red spider lilies.) The outside of the train looks like the surface of a body of water, and the entire scene is a deep blue. The description of the second trumpet is: "something described as 'a great mountain burning with fire' plunges into the sea and turns a third of the oceans to blood," which kills one-third of all sea life and destroys one-third of all ships. Now, this is more of a stretch, but as this creature is affiliated with water and the ocean, it is possible that it represents the second trumpet. However, the burning mountain and blood ocean parts are missing, so I'm unsure if this is entirely accurate.
HM.003 (Dude, I don't know):HM.003 is a trio of small humanoids, with the left and right ones having spirals instead of faces, and the middle one having two concentric circles instead of a face. The outside of the train is a bright and sunny field of grass....Yeah, I really have nothing for this one. During the third trumpet, a star called "Wormwood" falls to the Earth, poisoning a third of the Earth's freshwater sources. This doesn't line up with any of the trumpet's Wiki description, so comment if there was something I missed.
HM.004 (Likely):HM.004 is a large dark creature with a bright star shaped head. The inside of the train is noticeably dark, and the outside of the train is pitch black. During the fourth trumpet, "a third of the light that shines from the Sun, moon, and stars becomes dark from the celestial bodies being 'struck.' " This results in _complete_ darkness for one-third of the day, regardless of whether it's day or night. Given that the environment is completely dark, and that HM.004 itself has a star shaped (or possibly impact shaped?) head, it is likely that it represents the fourth trumpet.
HM.005 (Likely):HM.005 is a small humanoid figure, with a crudely drawn smiling face and two "antennae" sticking up from the top of it's head. Notably, there are numerous butterflies flying past the outside of the train. The fifth trumpet signifies the first of the "three woes", and in this one a star opens a bottomless pit that unleashes smoke that "darkens the air and blocks the sunlight." Then, the locusts (who I have just learned look basically nothing like locusts apart from their wings) are unleashed from the smoke, and sent to torment (but not kill!) anyone without the seal of God on their forehead. Given that there are a copious amount of bugs (which could represent the locusts) flying outside of the train, HM.005's antennae, and the darkened visuals inside the train, HM.005 likely represents the fifth trumpet.
Also, now that I've listen to the song and looked at the lyrics, I think the song is about Miku feeling bad for doing something to someone, as she states multiple times throughout the song "But if there were magic to start the world over from when we met/ to redo everything I've chosen, could I violate the law?" (I'm assuming what she means by "violate the law" is to change predetermined circumstances or something, IDK) I think what also could have happened is that Miku regrets not being there for somebody who is now dead, and/or blames herself for their death, as in the end of the song Miku's hands have what seems to be blood on them, and there are spider lilies in the train, which in Asia are commonly associated with death and mourning. Either way, Miku wants to be punished for her wrong doings. HM.006 (Uhhh...):HM.006 is an angelic looking figure, having hair that looks like wings, and wielding a large spear in it's left hand. The environment of the train is extremely light compared to literally everything else so far, and flowers can be seen growing outside of the train. To sum up the sixth trumpet/second woe, it's basically the four horsemen of the apocalypse except it's four angels and like two hundred million dudes that have been trained specifically to kill a third of mankind. The only link I could potentially make here is that HM.006 certainly looks like an angel that is built to kill you, given it's giant freaking spear. Other than that, the jarringly light environment and the suspicious lack of horse boys makes this connection more of a stretch than anything.

My theory is that in this song, Miku likely had a partner, and had recently broken up with them, only to see that they found someone new. Miku hates how happy they are with their new partner, and wants to go back to how things were when they were dating. Miku is shown to be calling someone at the beginning of the story, which I believe means that she was trying to get back together, and when that plan failed, she decided to take desperate measures to separate her ex and his girlfriend. when she says "I would be waiting for the seven trumpets", referring to the end of the world, meaning that she would rather everything end than see her ex be happy with another girl. Throughout the video, she says "I'll violate the law", probably harboring murderous intent toward her ex and his new partner. In conclusion, Miku is a yandere (similar to Retry Now), and is very obsessive and possessive of her ex, even after breaking up.

Miku says "I would be waiting for the seven trumpets" the seven trumpets are warnings of an apocalypse and sounds of judgement sounded by angels in the book of revelation, each trumpet brings a new crisis or disaster when sounded. Miku says that she "would love to see the end of the world, where all my bitter memories fall and perish!" I think this means Miku does not want to continue where she has to live with herself and her past mistakes. Another line that I find interesting is "Every upcoming catastrophe leads to the best bad ending. so that I won't remember your scent or the flower's name. I'll violate the law. I'll violate it now" I interpret these lines as Miku saying that every crisis will lead to "the best ending" (her dying) and that as long as she isn't here, she doesn't have to think about the person or the flower (which I'm assuming is a spider Lily) Though, I'm still confused about the violating the law part. it could be as I've already mentioned before is to change predetermined circumstances, perhaps using magic to change these circumstances as multiple times she mentions it throughout the song, but a line contradicts that when she says "there is no magic" at

as someone else pointed out, the seven trumpets represent the afterlife. this is t miku saying that if she DID have the ability to reincarnate, it's just a matter of time before she can go to heaven (instead of just wanting to earlier of the song) also the spider lilies are now red, which mainly represents death.
I also do want to talk about the last part at because I find that the most interesting part. She drops the phone, which I think is where Miku's ex firmly states that their relationship is over and he found a new person. This is where she falls into despair and loses her mind at the thought of him being with someone new. Then at

not sure what this means either, but this could be miku saying that if she saw the end of the world (her world at least, by going to the afterlife) with her lover all her painful memories would go away. she also breaks the phone, which could represent person on the other side dying
"Where all my bitter memories fall and perish" I think this matching with the mv a lot, it gave me an idea of how maybe the phone is a metaphor of the memories of her and anon. This is where she lets go of everything and let them crumble.
upcoming catastrophe here means t miku not being able to be with her lover, and the best bad ending is them dying (aka miku saying that if doesn't get to be with her lover then it will lead to them dying)
HM.007 (Hatsune Miku):HM.007 is the conductor Miku we've seen throughout the video, except her face has been darkened, only showing her mouth and right eye. The train itself is distorted, and there are cinematic black bars to the left and right of Miku. Notably, she is not constrained by these bars as she rushes forward to jumpscare us. The seventh trumpet/third woe is essentially judgement day- God has descended from on high and declared that the mortal world shall now function under His Heavenly Reign or something like that.I'm unsure about this one as well. Miku does seem to be unconstrained by the laws of time and space, and does bring along some form of "judgement" at the end- rushing towards the viewer and claiming that she'll "violate the law" and "violate it _now"_ (which is terrifying). She does also escape the train here, possibly entering _our realm_ with all her strange Miku-powers. Given how the seventh trumpet brings upon judgement and God's descent to our world, it is possible HM.007 represents the seventh trumpet._(Writer's Note: It is at this point I realized HM stood for Hatsune Miku, and I am ashamed it took me this long to figure out.)_
Ik a lot of people pointed this out but i just have to say, the way will mishear the tuning sometimes in Nakiso san's songs but they could be interpreted in another way too is insanely amazing. "I'll violate the law. I'll violate it now. Sounding like hocus pocus really just makes me so in awe, but again the repeated phase is just another meaningless sentence.--------------------------------------------------

miku being able to reincarnate after the death of her lover. she steps off the train in the few next shots, not going to the afterlife and instead trying to be with her lover (another crazy possibility i just had is that t miku pushed her lover to off themselves, which is maybe why she left the receiver "hanging". and her hands are covered in blood since she pushed them to do it)retry now is the sequel, where miku tries to kill er lover over and over again so she can reincarnate and be with themthat took way too long to write. i don't usually wrie theories so there may be some parts that i missed and some parts that i am not so sure about , so feel free to share your thoughts! also again special thanks for @astroisk. for the idea
We can see Miku on the platform of the train station, the train has reached the end of the line ( the passage of life) . There appears to be blood on Miku's hands, I think that instead of the blood being anon's; it's Miku's own. I think her yearning for anon and her to never crossed paths resulted in her own death, but anon? There is no magic. It's impossible for her to go back into time to change her fate and cause anon's death. Atleast that's what I think,,,--------------------------------------Deatils:Referencing the title and chorus of this song - もしもしも "What if", it feels like Miku is thinking of different ways of how this could've ended in a better light. Throughout the whole song, Miku's "What if"s got louder and louder; from a subtle whisper to a clearer voice into a more desprate and frantic desire.
