As you can see, the person was trying to present love not being a thing to 'trade' but as thing to do on it's own and that you shouldn't hurt yourself or not someone gives more than the other. Like the white side is for someone who does only for 'I', they end up being so selfish they lose the other. And the black side, who does for 'U' ends up hating it they leave. Either you hurt yourself by not doing it for yourself and for the other person.
