If you analyze the song more carefully, it's not really about the man thinking of suicide, but rather his failing attempt to save his lover. In the book "The Seduction of Thanathos" people are controlled by two elements: Thanathos who makes people incline to death, and Eros in which people seek life. The man's lover is controlled by Thanathos and he hates to see his lover so “captivated” and “in love” with death. He seems to be almost jealous of the reaper for holding his lover’s attention. And so in this shows how he tries to cover up her bloodshed eyes to prevent her from seeing the 'reaper' , the death calling her. She's not happy about it. It was because she wanted to bring the guy along with her.At the end, the guy and the girl jumped together and thats why the girl still moving since shes a grim reaper of his.You could also see in the first the girl has those pink thing around her eyes but then near the end the guy has the pink thing (maybe it smth to do with the sucidal thoughts)In its like an uno reversed card the guy thinks that hes governed by “Eros” but he actually governed by "Thanatos",
